Sexy Violence Has Never Been So Popular

The millions of devout True Blood fans have recently found out that their long anticipated season three will not debut on cable and satellite tv until June 2010. Will the long wait diminish the mass amount of mobbing fans? Think again. True Blood offers viewers an array of aesthetic pleasantries in high definition, including: sexy characters, supernatural elements, bloody tears, drugs, a twisting and turning plot, death, death, and more death. The seductive story line between the human world and the supernatural has captured a large American audience: True Blood is HBO's second most watched show behind The Sopranos.

The HBO hit series created and produced by Alan Ball is based on a series of novels written by Charlaine Harris titled The Southern Vampire Mysteries. The series deals with the invention of synthetic blood hitting the market in the form of the brand name Tru Blood. This new product enabled vampires to "come out of the coffin" and live amongst humans. Although the vampires are "out" they still have to fight for equal rights among humans. Among their chief adversaries is a Christian church called Fellowship of the Sun. They claim that vampires are not creatures of God.
The storyline follows the main character, Sookie Stackhouse, a blonde telepathic, wide eyed virgin waitress in boondocks Louisiana who is always sporting either short shorts or plenty of cleavage. The main plot, accompanied by various side stories, follows the romantic relationship that Sookie develops with a vampire, Bill Compton. Sookie is oblivious to Sam Trammell's (her boss at the restaurant) affection for her and flaunts her curiosity for Bill in front of him. Inevitably, an intense rivalry develops between Bill and Sam and surprisingly, Sam turns out to be an element of the supernatural as well: a shapeshifter.
The first season deals with the murder of various girls known to be "fang bangers", human girls who sleep with vampires and let them bite in the process. Sookie's brother, Jason Stackhouse, is the stereotypical ex-sports jock in the small town and the main suspect for the murders. Although the audience is aware of Jason's innocence the plot is thick with the knowledge that Jason does hate fang bangers and Sookie is sleeping with a vampire, Bill.
Above the complex storyline and intermingling relationships, any viewer of True Blood can attest to the steamy, seductive, and sensual sex scenes. If one fancies some tender touching and intense eye contact, Sookie and Bill take home the metal. On the other hand, every fan has seen Jason Stackhouse ravish multiple women: rough, hair-pulling, scream-o-lishous pounding with his incredible eight-pack body in HD is no laughing matter. Ask any female fan.
Sookie, her stud-muffin brother Jason Stackhouse, hot-bod best friend Tara Thornton, painfully adorable boss Sam Trammell, and the devilishly charismatic gay friend Lafayette Reynolds, among others, will all return in season three to lead a titillating cast. Following true True blood form, one can expect season three to introduce new characters of the supernatural, many more characters dying violent deaths, and new revelations about the political vampire world. I suspect that we will see more romantic troubles between Sookie and Bill as well. As for sexy vampire on human action, that's an absolute guarantee.
